Log burner Installation Taunton

HETAS stove and fireplace installer Taunton

and all surrounding areas

These are some of the Log burner Installations we have completed in the Somerset area

Limelight fires building a false chimney breast with twin wall flue system in North Town, Taunton. Starting of by cutting a whole in the wall then drilling a neat whole though to the out side

To construct the false chimney breast we used metal studs to get the frame and the boarded with a non combustible material (cement board).

To finish we made sure that we put in rock wall insulation where needed we then fitted the oak beam, plastered and fit the stove on this job the customer wanted the beam lower down meaning we had to use twin wall flue pipe as a connection pipe to learn more about this please click hear

Limelight fires undertaking this large renovation to there fireplace in Martock. to start out we carpet protected the work space then laid down dust sheets in preparation of braking out old fireplace design

Once limelight had removed what was necessary we had to put in a prop so that we could knock out and built up in bricks customers choice. A masonry lintel was then added.

Once the lintel was strong we could take out the props and put in this lovely decorative beam and plater board and plaster the top of the breast. Finally install a dark slate hearth and fit the Log Burner and flue system.

Log Burner installed in this lovely fire place in Taunton. Installed with oak beam and brick arch cleaned up and left exposed.

Chimney re-build in Bishops Lydeard, Taunton.  Limelight had to knock down the chimney and remove all the waste, then re build the chimney ensuring all lead works have been put in place, this is important so that you don't get leaks in the future.

On this chimney rebuild we have taken a picture of the lead works. Generally two lead trays are installed so that there is no unprotected area of the stack. As the rain percolates down the exposed section of the chimney stack it will meet the lead tray and drain out.

Limelight Fires installed this lovely log burner with oven in Wellington, we installed it with natural oak beam and dark slate hearth.

On the first day of this knock out, Limelight removed existing open fire, removed all waste and rubble then installed the lintel, then cut the hearth and installed it, then fit there closure plate and flue system.

the second day of this job we prepared for plastering then installed the oak beam, then plastered and installed there stove in Bridgewater.
